I’m Julay (they/them). My spirit name is Akit Biyaya, Charmer of Grace, channeled through Luntiang Aghama. My ancestral homelands are Betis, Pampanga; Solsona, Ilocos Norte; and Bulacan, in the islands colonially known as the Philippines. I am Kapampangan, Ilokano, and Tagalog.
I am a queer tattoo ritualist and antingero (amulet conjurer), deeply rooted in ancestral practices, I have been offering my gifts since 2008. My work extends beyond tattooing and amulets—I also offer guidance, energy healing, and diagnostics through:
✨ Tawas (Ancestral Spiritual diagnostic)
✨ Distance Reiki
✨ Guided Meditations
✨ EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique/Tapping)
I have curated a mentorship program for those seeking to step into or deepen their understanding of tattoo ceremonies and/or their spiritual practice.
I am currently studying Hilot, the traditional healing arts of the Philippines, with the Hilot Academy of Binabaylan. I have completed the Hilot Non-Contact Online Training and plan to complete the in-person course in the Philippines in the coming years.
Beyond my healing work, I am also a visual artist, graphic designer and dabble in many creative ventures. My calling to this decolonizing healing work is deeply woven into my lineage, and my purpose in this life is to:
✨ Hold space in ritual for grief
✨ Facilitate and empower people to release blockages and stagnant energy
✨ Guide others to trust their intuition and live in their truth, purpose, and liberation
It is truly an honour to be a witness to your journeys.
